I've tried everything. I walk to the upgrade machine, buy my update and then cannot leave anymore. I also could not find something that could be the off switch. Please help!

There is no off switch, simply walk away from the machine.

u cant...theres an bug where u cant move after u want u leave the shop...made another topic about it....does anyone have a solution for this?

That is like ZombiIX said impossible. I can jump but I cannot move. That is so great. The game is unplayable this way. How could this pass QA - both from the devs and from GOG?

Strange, I didn't encounter this bug yet (played about 5 hours).

Maybe try to contact Flying Wild Hog?

I just found the solution in steam forum. It IS a bug that occurs only when you rebind your keys. I once contacted Flkying Wild Hog because of the problem that you cannot turn off this stupid "press key to skip" in cutscenes in Shadow Warrior 2013 (which they now did again in Hard Reset those stupid people) and never even got a reply. So I guess contacting THEM would be pointless.

I just tested it. The moment you are using the arrow keys to exit the upgrade station it won't work. But you can use W,A,S,D to exit the station so if you (like me) want to use arrow keys for movement do this as secondary key bind and move away from the station using "S" key. At least this is a workaround.

thx alot for the solution...hmmm this really sucks...an advanced version with graphic downgrade and new bugs....this problem wasnt in the original version...

you can work around this using autohotkey or by not rebinding to arrow keys. Rebind to numpad keys instead that works.

I've got the same issue, which as stated never existed in the original. There are other new problems I'm noticing too. The graphical downgrade seems like the least of it.

I don't know if I should be patient and await the massive patches this game is going to need just to make it as good as the original, or if I should face the inevitable and just ask for a refund now.

Glad I found this thread. I get stuck in the upgrade both every single time. Hell, I get stuck in it if I pass by too close and it gets activated by accident. Sure hope this gets fixed soon, considering this bug has happened in the middle of battle several times.

I just got a reply on steam forums from the devs. They told me that this issue will be fixed with the next patch (which should come out at the end of next week on steam) and which will also fix some graphic issues.

After I asked them about the annoying "Press key to skip" message they said that they did not want to change it because the player needs an indication that he can skip the cutscene. I then told them that it would be enough to let it blink two or three times and then let it disappear and now they plan to do this as well :)
