Just started playing with the character and I'm less than impressed so far: Slower attacks than the paladin and no shield. Secondary attack that is decent enough, but uses up coins that are needed to upgrade your character at merchants. Second worst hit points in the game after the wizard, but without the devastating arsenal...

Is it supposed to be an handicap character or something?

Maybe somebody who has played further into the game with the character could sell it to me, because atm, I find it a hard buy.

EDIT: Ah, defensive upgrade that givens a chance to make money each time you slay a foe. Got it.
