:) LOL indeed.

I thought it odd there was no linux version yet.
I went straight to the CLI, of course trying to use wildcards like ls Rc* etc would not work so it is basic but still they have many real commands in there at least.

:)

[update]
could REALLY use wildcards so we can delete filenames. Wildcards only seem to work to say "all files" ie rm * but if you tried rm SL* you can't do that. This forces you to type REALLY long filenames (sometimes case sensitive sometimes not which is another problem). Sure this is fun but proper wildcards would help and consistency with filenames.

Still having a LOT of fun. I got busted and another hacker deleted x server so I had to restore. Lucky I know what I'm doing ! :)

Oh......could also REALLY use the cp command !!! :)

There is a Linux version in the works, though :)

Good to know. Looks interesting. Hacking games always give me a Last Starfighter kinda feel. ;)

It does not auto complete when you have filenames that 4-5 words long does it ? Surely not. Wouldn't that unbalance the game and make it too easy ? I'll try it but I didn't think auto complete finishes typing in all the long filename you need to type in.

If it does, it would have still been more realistic to use working wildcards :)

[UPDATE]
Yes auto complete types in the filename so long as you have a unique match else it lists you other things that matches. Also it does not really unbalance anything. Because wildcards do not really work as they should, auto complete is a good compromise.

Still enjoying the game although I only play for a few missions every 2-3 days now. Bit at a time. :)

Oh this is great to know ... will be good to freak people on the train out with ... and my laptop is linux ;)
I see that the free HackTheGame now has an online one called "HackerForever".
Pity it is an MMO, I'd like something like this but fully offline with AI players only, I hate anything that you have to play online.
Any news on the Linux version?

The Linux version is out! I do hope it turns up here on GOG soon!

It arrived just before Christmas ;)
I almost bought it on Humble which has the Linux version. Glad, I quickly checked GOG to see that they have the Linux version as well. :-)
