I played through the first few levels with an XBOX controller, but when I play again today, the controls don't do anything in the game. I can navigate the menu with the controller but the controller screen says Controllers: None. Is there a way to force controller detection? I looked for an INI with controller settings but I couldn't find one. Restarting the game doesn't help. This is for the 1st game.

I am having the exact same issue with an XBOX 360 controller. I can scan through the menu with the left joystick, but I can't select anything, and my joystick says none. I was looking forward to playing this tonight.

same problem here! no xbox 360 detection! in every other game the controller works fine. This is the first game that had this issue!

Same problem ... until I started a new game.

When starting a new game ... don't pick keyboard or mouse ... choose the controller.

My controller is a Logitech F310 ... it showed in-game as 'Xinput Controller'.

Worked fine.

I figured it out. You have to change your control type as you continue your game. Really annoying that it doesn't remember the last input used.
