Hello (please pardon me if my english is a little awkward as I am french and not quite used to technical vocabulary).

I just launched the game a few minutes ago and I have serious graphic issues with it.

It seems to be coming from the "advanced lighting" in the graphic options.

If this option is on, the character is completely invisible, except for the shadow under him (see first attached image, you can spot the shadow near the chair). I can happen to see tiny bits of polygons at certain places while I move him but he besomes invisible as soon as it stays in one place.

If the option is off, Manny is here again (yay !) but leaves a strange blue trace of each and every movement he's doing (yay ?). (see second attached image)

The game works fine if I choose the "original" graphics mode, but there is a lot of aliasing and I bought the game to enjoy the new graphics in the first place.

I run it on Windows 7 64bit on an ASUS laptop with an ATI Radeon HD 5470 graphic card.

Can someone please help me fix these annoyances ?

Had the same issue, turning off the new renderer (Under special options I think) solved it.
Yeah I checked that but then there is a lot of aliasing and I bought the game to enjoy the new graphics in the first place (I still have the old CD ROM version if I want the old graphics and controls).

Eva, I'm impressed. I had no idea you have this kind of... power :)
check whether the game runs on your dedicated gpu as mine was not. fixed it in my nvidia control panel by making GF run on my nvidia gpu instead of on intel.

I can't find a way to open my graphics card control center.

I tried to update the drivers (only resulting in a black screen so that I had to install an older version of the driver), re-install the control center, and still no way to open it.

Guess I'm screwed for this game to run properly on my PC.

That makes me genuinely sad.
Off topic: C'est quoi ton fond d'écran? Je veux le même!
On topic: I have no idea. What happens full screen? Same issue? I'm still in the process of downloading the game... a second time so had no opportunity to try it yet reason why I'm wandering on the forum.

Oh. You got bigger issues than the game then if drivers are broken for you.

Off Topic : c'est tiré du générique de Gravity Falls, alias le meilleur dessin animé de ces dix dernières années (à mon humble avis). J'ai attaché l'image en question sur ce message.

On topic : yep it's exactly the same on full screen.
