I already play Arcanist/Coronus (sort of necromancer) & used to play Arcanist/Arch Necromancer.
If you want necromancy now, try DAIL mod on Nexusmods.

Yeah but i bet it won't be any decent, like D2's lagomancer.
Most of the summons will be time limitted to hell and back and be nothing more than a glorified magic missile with pass through and a low dps.
At most you will have 2 persistent 'pets'. allowing at max 4 persistent pets from dual classing... pathetic. *spits@GrimDawn

Whee, those are the best news! Even my last curiosity to touch Diablo 3, vanished forever!

Grim Dawn has dual-class, which means i can get myself a Diablo 2-like, Paladin/Necromancer, all in ONE char! Hell, i am going to party, as if it was 1999!

The new masteries are part of the expansion which is currently still a work in progress. Zantai estimated at the end of May that there was another couple of months' work to do and then it has to go into testing. So hopefully we'll see it around September/October time if all goes well.
