Hi, i'm having problem with my build, and i'm not sure what exactly i'm doing wrong. I'm basically trying a pet build with necromancer/arcanist, but my pets die VERY quickly, and they don't do a lot of damage (at least on elite difficulty), and i'm not sure if it's my equipment, my devotions, or other stuff.that I did wrong.

Even with resistances, sometimes I take a lot of damage on my character (not talking about the pets here), and i'm really confused.

Well, arcanist has zero support for pets and hybrid builds don't work really. If you want to go pets you need to focus on gear that support pets, right now only your offhand gives pets bonuses. Rest of your gear is completely useless for them, that's why they die easily and can't kill anything. Spellbinders are typically caster focusing on aether damage. For pets pick some combo of Necro/Shaman/Occultist masteries.

necromancer occulist is the best way to go, and yes like nuworld says you need the extra stats on gear to boost ya pets.. its common sense in my knowledge...
