ok after this came out game no longer starts just keeps synching to cloud what gets it going again?

the error message that keeps coming up is that the procedure entry point can't be found

In the grimdawn folder is a repair.exe ... maybe try this, and if this doesnt work, you could see, if the game starts by doubleclicking the exe without Galaxy

Also make sure your anti-virus isn't excluding any files. There have been some false positives reported with the latest hotfix.

I have Galaxy installed, but I don't use it. The hotfix seems to work on my game installation without any issue.
