UPDATED!!!

1: Where once you had to make sure you never ran completey out of mana, otherwise your buffs and abilities could be disabled, Now, that strategic difficulty is removed for Console players.

2: Skill Disruption, seems to have been removed where the buffs you could get debuffed and had to reactivate them, since the active things are on constantly. More for Console players

3: Difficulty has been revamped so what is the point of having 3 seperate difficulties if you can just get 100 on the first, instead of needing to go to elite or ultimate as before? Just get rid of Normal and Elite and only have Ultimate. ;?

4: Healing Potions, now is an infinite button, which just makes the game dumber. Sure it is more convenient but that just takes away from the game. This one is a 50/50 cause of opinion. You want infinite heal go play the trash that is d4 or w/e.

5: Evade button, How many people on the PC are that weak to need that. Another Console improvement.

6: Constantly having to put Health/Mana selection back on the toolbar every single time. -_-

I don't mind Crate Entertainment getting money from the Console players, but they should not have to sell out the PC players to DO IT! Has Grim Dawn been *Dummed Down* . Yes it has, is it more favorable toward console players. Yes.

How much will they dismantle for those console sales? The dumber it is, the easier for console users.

What's dumbed down? If you mean loot beams that was something Crate decided to add from the Grim Internals tool since sadly that is no longer being updated by its creator. And wasn't something that Xbox users could use far as I know. The icons against items I think is just a nice addition in general. I know most of them, but certainly new players on either platform won't so it helps them to learn what they are.

Evade you can blame on D4. Potions being changed to skills, that might be from D4 as well. I don't play that so no idea.
I liked the 1.1.9.8 version a lot, but I like the new 1.2 update (now 1.2.0.3) just as much.

I keep a backup of the prior version just in case, but I doubt I'll ever go back.

There are also plenty of mods for the new version that just keeps extending the games replayability. Honestly, you can't go wrong with either version. But for me, I can't go back now. it's just too fun. :)

I also hear there's another expansion on the way? I think I read that somewhere. This is one of the few games for me, where I felt the expansions made the game even better. Some games ruin it by adding more, but not Grim Dawn. :)

Yes we are getting a new expansion, + Loyalist Pack #3 in game goodies also.

We will see, but I just hate for them to ruin a good game. -_- Hopefully

Whereaminow25: This update feels entirely for the Console players, evade, no bothering with heal potions, and such. -_-

Easier use and access for console players. Which means dumbed down. -_- The new Feature that shows the monster infrequent is neat, but only useful for console players cause they more than anyone else would overlook or miss playing with a controller. -_-

Removing Health Potions, from the game and replacing it with infinite use, would only benefit Console Players, cause PC didn't have a problem.

Scaling the Monster level to player on all difficulties so you can get 100 on normal. Why not just remove normal and nightmare diff and have only Ultimate?

So was this for console players? Maybe. I am not a one of the crate people and couldn't tell you to be sure. But Change isn't always a good thing.

Im just saying, you don't have to have a game dumbed down or changed so console players can use it. Console players bya new console every year just about. they can afford a pc to play ^^
I literally never once ran out of healing potions in HUNDREDS of hours, so the fact that they no longer have to accumulate and take up spots in the inventory and stash seems insignificant, and complaining about it is pedantic at best. The evade button simply increases options for survival. As for catering to console in some fashion, I mean, do you want them to make money and continue making great content??

YEESS PLEASE MOAR :)

Joking aside: I have had no issues with CE's choises. The small console add ons aren't nothing but simple addons. The pot changes are different, but welcome (no more hoarding health pots). And agreed about the Evade skill addon, if you don't like it then don't use it.
