I'm logged into GOG Galaxy client, and launch GD from within Galaxy. When I try to join a multiplayer game, GD says that I have to be logged into Galaxy and launch the game from there, which is exactly what I'm doing. Is there something I'm missing?

Galaxy 1.2.56
GD 1.1.2.5 (all expansions)

EDIT: resolved, see: https://www.gog.com/forum/grim_dawn/gd_doesnt_think_im_logged_into_galaxy/post3

Hi darkroastbeans.

Maybe your connection was momentarily lost (loose cables), your Internet provider happened to experience a temporary outage of the service or your Internet connection was too busy? Did you try to connect to a multiplayer lobby again at a later time?

Cheers.

Thanks, problem solved. I was actually testing to see if I could see a friend's server, but I was doing so over RDP from my laptop to my gaming rig (where Galaxy is installed), and I forgot that Galaxy has issues with RDP. When I hopped on my gaming rig directly and tried it everything worked fine.
Having the exact same issue, except I'm not on any remote desktop or anything - just the same gaming rig I've been using for years. Had no issues with mutliplayer in Grim Dawn in the past either.
