Greetings.

First let me get this off my chest. This is the most unintuitive strategy game I have ever played! Frustration level critical!

There. Now I feel better.

Here's my first question. I'll probably add more later as I get deeper into the gameplay.

1: When I settle a new town how do I get resources to build anything to it? Apparently just using a settler isn't enough.

2: How do I get research points? I've played for ingame years and don't get any.

Thanks in advance.
Tarm

Edit: Alright I've solved those somewhat by just playing for some more time. I'm sure I'll have more questions later. :P

Hi Tarm.
I am happy to hear that you could answer your questions already on your own.
Furthermore, if you have any questions regarding the game, gameplay, feedback of any kind, feel free to poke me anytime, or even head over to our official boards (to be found here: http://forum.kalypsomedia.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=92) for even faster responses from me, other players, or if you are lucky even from a developer ;)

Thank you!

I did have some other questions.

1: What does a Warehouse do? Does it just store and hold wares or something else? I don't understand their function.

2: Getting the economy up and running is hard. So far I've played on the English Isles and after about three or four cities my economy just stagnates.
I use only the Balanced traders. That is I don't manage them myself. So far I've tried having them on all cities I can find, only mine, only one of mine and all of the others while one merchant have only my cities.
Nothing seems to work well. I try to mainly go for the wares that require one or two other wares.

Edit: Turns out I had too many traders and carts that was zipping around like flies. Now I have a much better economy going with only a few traders and just enough carts to not hit the roof.

Haven't figured out warehouses yet. Also how do I shut one down if I want to move my central warehouse to another city?
