Fonzer: If it's first gothic then probably ctrl and arrow up to pick it up, you can also choose with ctrl left arrow or ctrl right arrow to choose an different item when there are several there and then just ctrl up to pick it up.
Carp88: Yes it's Gothic 1 I played it years ago when it first came out and thought it was the BEST GAME EVER MADE ! the years have changed my mind well I guess you can't go baxk , I forgot how crappy the key controls were , Killing anything takes a lot of skill not to mention life,,,,, mashing on the key fast isn't going to do jack , you have to get that left right ledt down thing timed right ,,,it's coming back to me. Good thing about this game is the save game is easy and fast and always good to do vefore any fight or stealing from a chest,
Do you know if you can use the Marvin Cheat on this Game ? I tried and it didn't work,,, Maybe because it;s not the disk,, first game I ever bought online don't knpw if cheats work or not > ?

The thing is i have gothic 1 from bravo screenfun which is german and gothic 2 gold which is english. So those are all cd dvd versions. And i haven't played gothic 1 in ages only gothic 2 i replay sometimes.
Also fighting animal beasts and not humans is easier since you can just go back by pressing the down arrow key and they will miss you, don't think it works with humans though.
