Since its an open world I have questions about it:

1.Is all the monster's levels fixed, because sadly I heard that even Morrowind has some level scaling, so Gothic is completely fixed level wise, is there a dungeon with a dragons and tough monsters that I can go into at level 1?

2. How big is the world, is it bigger than Vvardenfell?

3. Combat real time action with WASD+mouse controls?

4.Story and lore?

1. Yes, monsters' level is fixed. There are no dragons in Gothic 1, but there are other tough monsters.
2. No, it's smaller than Vvardenfell, but big enough nevertheless.
3. Yes. Controls are a bit funny to get used to, but one you do, you have no problem after that whatsoever. Don't let combat scare you away from the game, you can learn it quick enough.
4. Rich with lots of surprises along the way. Not so much lore as in TES series, still you can find some books to read.

So all the Gothics are Dragonless?

Dragons appear in Gothic 2 and Gothic 3.

Goody, but I will stick with 2 since I don't want to go through the hassle of putting the community patch for Gothic 3.

Gothic 3 (GOG version) comes with the latest community patch (1.75) installed, so you don't have to worry about anything else.

OK now I am pissed, the controls, I though there was mouse controls, but there is no freaking Mouse Arrow, is this game completely controlled only by Keyboard?

There are no CG cutscenes, I know this because all I see is blackness and only listening to the screen.

Fuck and this game came out in 2001, you think they would have a standard control scheme?

In they controls section (keyboard settings, that is), change to Alternative, this should allow you to you mouse in-game.
Keep in mind that you still will use keyboard a lot (it was originally designed for keyboard use only).

Example of controls:
* Space = sheathe / unsheathe weapon
* Ctrl + W = interact with a person (start dialogue)
* Ctrl (interact in a chest) + W (open the chest) + D (move selected item from chest to inventory - while holding Ctrl)
* Alt = jump
* Alt + W = climb obstacles (when you can actually climb, camera will turn up)

If by CG you mean intro movies, then open Gothic.ini file (Gothic\System\Gothic.ini) and change line
scaleVideos=1
to
scaleVideos=0

Just have a little patience and you'll be fine.

Still I find it Bullshit and unacceptable, they should have looked at games like Deus Ex, System Shock 2, Half-Life, Thief, etc. and I heard Gothic 2 has the same controls so they completely looked over Morrowind.

Damn I placed alot of trust in people's recommendation, but I saw the ugly truth myself, Arma 2's controls are better than this.

And I am really really sorry for my rage, I just rage quitted Ultima 7 and I could not handle how primitive it is, so I looked at Gothic and said yeah I rather play a more Modern PC RPG, than I played the game :(

Elmofongo: And I am really really sorry for my rage
No problem.
It happened to me too first time I played Gothic. I was this close to break CD box along with the disk. After I calmed myself and gave it some time, it quickly became one my favorite games of all times. I replayed it countless times over last decade and still enjoying it as much as I did the first time.

It offers an amazing experience, just don't rush it.
And at that time I hated Morrowind too for his "idiotic" combat at low levels (I had no idea what D&D ruleset were) (remember you couldn't even hit a mudcrab?), but then it turned out to be one of the greatest RPGs ever...

Think about it.

The Morrowind thing I came prepared with thr knowledge, just focus on the weapon you are skilled with, completely avoid enemy contact until you get say a long sword which are skilled in.

But this...this is gonna take awhile, and it does not help since the textures look subpar when I am playing on my laptop and I am worried the texture mod is something like Morrowind overhaul which only high end machines like my bros desktop can handle.
Controls are probably the most difficult part of getting into Gothic, followed closely by the absolutely punishing difficulty at early levels. Give yourself about 2 hours of gameplay to get used to the controls- after that it should start feeling quite a bit more natural (I know I'll sound crazy saying this, but I actually liked the controls in Gothic 1&2 after getting used to them).
The controls are funky, you really need to play around with them a bit to get used to them.

The biggest issues are timing and targeting. IMO the control scheme is actually quite functional when you get used to it, but there's really one issue that it doesn't deal with well: fighting multiple enemies. I often find myself targeting an enemy I don't want to be targeting.

That's why it's important to pace yourself as you play the game, you can become very powerful but you certainly don't start that way.

The textures are decent for when the game came out, and as anyone who regularly plays older games knows: graphics are only a problem until you really get into the game, then it stops being distracting.

I have been playing on my Laptop and it looked shitty, I will try to play this on my Brothers more powerful desktop, which has a more comfortable keyboard.

Gothic's video settings aren't at their maximums by default, in case you weren't aware of that. :)
