Can you provide some detailed info on how I could get to the 2 mage / old chests as I cannot find them:

1. on a hill above Angir / Baldar (???) tomb; there is a black troll there - but is it Angir's or Baldar's tomb as it varies depending on the source?

2. nordmar - wilderness - magic ore mine with a smelter, there is an alternate entrance through orc camp north of hammer clan?

There are these ten plus one new in a cave under the Monastery, IIRC.

Also, since liberating the ore mine is essentially one of the main Nordmar questline goals, there are some quests (involving reputation ones) tied to it, so I'd recommend to complete what you can before going to the mine itself, as those quests will be impossible to finish once you liberate it (like rallying people from clans etc.).

But yes, there are two entrances to the mine.

One of the ways to just open a chest are - sleep and transform into meatbug - in meatbug form i got 2 chests in ishtar without alerting anyone. Retransfor, open chest, teleport out :)

There are quite a few orcs right around the chest, though. I'm not sure if you'll be able to put them all to sleep at once. And I don't know if you use CP 1.74 (which comes preinstalled with GOG's G3) or 1.75, but you can't open chests during combat in 1.75.

And remember that the chest is not accessible (definitely not as a meatbug) directly from the mine. You have to walk away in a straight line from the entrance to Baldar's tomb until you see a small camp of goblins on your left. Pass right through it and then through an orc camp (one of the five major camps in Nordmar). There is an entrance into a small portion of a mine from there, with about a dozen orcs (including a Shaman and a Leader IIRC) and the chest.

Im using 174 cp and u cannot open cheats when in combat but with a few reloads i was abke to pull off some nice stunts but that must have been lucky coincidences i guess.

I will give it a shot just to assess the odds and let u know :)

Edit: as a bloodfly i went in and killed leader shaman and a few orcs to get the old chest other orcs in mine and around did not notice. Btw, i do not have any missions completed after that. You can sometimes do a quest by accident - it happened to me on aeveral occasions so far but not now so i guess its ok :)

Edit 2- u cannot attack them after all . As they attack hammer clan. Well this chest just has to wait :)

Now i need to grab staff of invulnerability (?). The one with +40 all defence.

Btw, @helpo1 - you linked some time back a polish webpage with a list of 50 old chests. I have problems with no 50 (north of silden, cave with shadowbeadt) and no 47 (road to monastery, cave with icewolves). Any tips maybe?

Unfortunaly, I don't remember and I don't even have access to G3 for a few days, so I can't try to find them myself.
