This game has got to be the best value for money ever, if you like it of course.
Having just played through the main game and clocking up a time of just under 80 hours(played as militia & paladdin) and now playing it again with the addon i am well past 30 hours and still in chapter 2 (as mercenary & water mage).
Just wondering what everyone else's game times are.
Well I'm in chapter 2 and playing as a Merc on my first playthrough, I'm basically in the add-on world right now. So far I clocked 20 hours.
Chapter two, as a Merc on my first playthrough with Night of the Raven installed. At 14 hours, I figured I was taking my time. But 30 hours in and still on the 2nd chapter? I'm usually not one to plow through a game, but damn...that's true patience. ;)
I might need to follow suit actually and go do some other quests in the meantime. Just about every monster in the new land smears me completely.

I'm taking my time and trying to find as much as i can this time (it's my third time playing through it, although the first with the add-on). Should easily break 100 hours plus.
You should be able to beat the orcs if you have a lot of patientce as they can put you down in a one or two hits just swing twice(forward the right) when they come at you then jump back 2 steps and do it again and again and so on. It can get rather tedious and boring very quickly though.
You will probably need to improve your stats though as a seeker is guarding the pass gate and you will need to get by him to start chapter 3 (sure he was easier on the original game). Reckon you can probably leg it through the gate though without fighting him.
seekers one on one are easy... just run up to him full speed before he has a chance to really hurt you and keep swinging away with correctly timed normal attacks (not the left/right attacks, but like if you use the mouse main click as normal attack and combo the strikes) and he will maybe do damage to you on every 4th or 5th attack he attempts. I took down all the seekers in when I started chapter 3 just by bum rushing and attacking constantly so they don't have time to cast spells.
Oh, and I did the add-on once chapter 3 started, so everything there (except the orcs at the northern mansion) is easy so far...

You can take out those orcs while doing the Razor-hunting quest. It can be a bit of a challenge luring the orcs away a few at a time, especially since they tend to go after you rather than anyone else, but it can be done. What's more you still get all the experience. :)

yea I realized that, but at that point I had already gone into the valley by myself (prior to going to the pirate camp at all) and cleared it of wildlife, so I completed the quest before I even got the pirate friends to come with me.... I need to swing back by there to see if I can get them to follow me for a while anyway
