I wanted to play the demo before buying it to see if I'd like it but, whenever I launch it, a box pops up saying I should disable my anti virus(s) because of a conflict. I'm not doing that so getting a demo is out of the question. Now, if I was to buy Gothic 2 from GoG would I get prompted with the same message or is it just a demo problem?

I realize this post is a week old already, but for my 2 cents: Go ahead and disable your anti-virus to play the demo. You can turn it back on when you're done. As for disabling it for playing Gothic 2, no, that is not necessary, although I always disable mine during the download and installation - that's for all games I download to avoid problems. After that, just turn it back on again. Seriously not a big deal - unless you're surfing the net during downloads, which isn't a good idea either.
