Hello,

Cutscenes don't work properly in widescren resolution.
The fix is to disable scaling , but even on my HD screen that makes the videos hard to watch.

Any way to fix this?

Does your problem occur with the opening scene when you select PLAY INTRO? If so, maybe something I did below helps you (though I'm only at the start of the game and haven't seen an ingame cutscene):

I'm playing on Windows 10 Home edition. Just downloaded Gothic 2 Gold from GOG a couple
days ago. Was getting a very annoying white vertical bar on the left and white horizontal bar on the top of the game screen. After fiddling with the settings, I finally got the game to fill the screen properly. Here is what I changed to from when the game was first installed:

1024x768x16 ingame video setting

right click on launch icon then choose PROPERTIES to get to the SHORTCUT tab.
Then set RUN: to MINIMIZED

Just download upscaled movies from mod.db.

The cutscenes look great, but they have no sound in game. Any idea for a fix?
