Fans of the original Gothic and Gothic II may be aware of the font size, which becomes almost unreadable on high resolutions. Thanks to a Russian modder, there's now a much larger font-set available. It was designed with Cyrillic display in mind, so the Roman alphabet's font set is not perfect, but it works perfectly on any localization of either Gothic or Gothic 2.
The font-set can be downloaded here.
Put the VDF file into your Gothic/Data folder or Gothic2/Data folder, respectively, and the font will be replaced with a new, larger (if uglier) font for display on your giant monitor.
Here's how it looks in action!
