Just installed the game. I had issues with the shaders cache which I successfully disabled.
Then, once I launched the game I realized I can not save at all. Game gives me : save is not possible at present.
I made some research, and my main theory is the Documents folder is read-only, that is why I can not save.
If there is another explanation I'll be happy to know.
As for the folder, I tried manually change that read-only property, but something in my system immediately changes it back. I couldn't defeat that.
So by far I see two strategies IF my main theory is correct.
I need to take read-only property off for good somehow.
I need to change default Gothic saves folder to something else.
Any help would be appreciated.
