G2 playing NoTR, full screen mode in any resolution; NVIDIA Quadro K5000 in a DELL M6700, Win 7 64.

When crossing the main square in front of the fortune teller (in front of the Inn and the free beer guy) and when using the teleporter stone platforms I get terrible video lag and stuttering; so bad that I can't run forward any longer. If I change my view to look straight down then it works OK, but as soon as I look up/forward it stutters again.

This only happens in full screen mode, not windowed mode, and in all resolutions. I have quadrupled the games video buffer size in the ini and that didn't help.

Any ideas?

Since you're not having the problem in windowed mode try using windowed mode with the in-game resolution set to match your desktop resolution; the game will then run borderless, looking exactly like fullscreen mode.

Hi, thanks for the answer, that's exactly what I'm doing but there is still a white window border actually. I am running in 1920x1080x32 which matches my resolution. Any way to get rid of the window border?

Screen shot attached (reduced to 50%)

Also, there is no in-game option for 1920x1080 so I just set it in the ini file.

Oh, interesting, on my Windows 7 the GOG installer applied the borderless fix when installing so I didn't mention that; install the Gothic and Gothic II fullscreen border fix to remove the border. :)
