Hello,

I have Gothic 2 Gold installed and at certain locations, like the Orc cave on the way to Akil's farm or near Abuyin in Khorinis, the game starts to have this weird lag, it's not an fps drop, more like multiplayer lag where the player starts teleporting and lagging. Any one experience this and know a fix?? It's really annoying. I have a very powerful PC so that's not the issue (i5 2500k with sli geforce 680, sli is disabled).

I don't know of a fix but this has come up before (and I have a vague memory of someone suggesting one) but it seems to happen in rocky areas and within towns where there are a lot of graphics and it doesn't seem to be PC related. Not really much help but I'm just not the technical sort. You might try searching my past posts (if one can do that here) from a year or so ago - I asked this and I believe someone gave some useful info - just don't remember what it was.

Ok that's at least some good news that someone is aware of this... Not sure what to search for but I'll try. Thanks.

Apparently there's no search function at this site - I tried to find it but couldn't. I believe "Arkose" supplied the answer, though. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
