Just bought this on sale but pressing 'M' (as shown in controls) is not showing the map when pressed.
Anyone else have the same issue?

BTW, Damn shame GoG didn't put Gothic 1 up for sale like they did 2 & 3. What were they thinking?

I think you have to buy a map first, before you can use a map :P.

Yep, in the first two Gothic games you actually need to buy maps before you can use them. There's a quest for a mapmaker in the city of Khorinis that will get you a map of the island.

Gothic 1 isn't published by Nordic Games so isn't included in Nordic-related sales; the holiday sales usually have a Gothic series bundle (which does include Gothic 1).
