How do I cook food on a stove, I never got told how to do it, and whenever I use the interact action I just put a pan with meat on the stove, when I press any other key, he stops cooking.
What do I need to do?

Cooking takes some time, so you need to wait a little bit. ;)
You need to have some raw meet to cook and once that's done you should notice that have an extra cooked whatever which gives you more hit points when you eat it.
I don't know about a stove, but you can cook raw meat pretty fast over an open fire. So long as the cooking animation starts to fire, (I'm not even sure if the meat has to hit the pan), you can immediately start cooking another. I'm trying to remember the exact keystrokes. Something like holding use + forward, then back arrow... I think. Repeat. Anyway, you can cook 20 in 20 seconds.

If you are on Gothic III, just be careful about cooking meat before finishing the "kill the shy deer and bring me the meat" task (or, be sure to leave five raw pieces to give him).
Ingredients:
1 pound uncooked jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails left intact
1/3 cup flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3 large eggs
1 1/2 cups Kikkoman Panko Bread Crumbs
Vegetable oil (for deep frying)
Directions:
1. Beat eggs in a medium bowl until frothy. Mix flour, salt and pepper in another medium bowl. Dredge shrimp in flour, shake off excess. Dip shrimp into eggs, then press shrimp into Panko; turn shrimp over and press into Panko again to coat both sides.
2. Pour enough oil into heavy large pot to reach depth of 2 inches; heat to 350 degrees F. Working in batches, add shrimp to hot oil; deep-fry until cooked through, about 1 minute. Using tongs transfer shrimp to paper towels to drain. Arrange shrimp on platter. If desired, serve with Kikkoman Tonkatsu Sauce for dipping.
