Hi all,

Is it possible to finish Gothic 1 and 2 without apply unofficial patches, kits ect....?

Just the install of the GOG version.

You are worried about technical compatibilities, or for the games being bugged?

Yes you can. There is not a bug that require unofficial patch to finish the game. As far as i know the SystemPack 1.7 fixes performance issues and compatibility with newer systems . Also allow you to play at higher resolutions and make the game smoother. There is no reason not to use it anyway. The GD3D11 is another story and can make the things worse so it is not generally recommended.

Thanks guys, the game runs fine. Just wanted to know if there are any gamebreaking bugs in the GOG release.

Not sure but I thing II is patched by GoG with an unofficial patch.
