In case you haven't noticed, GOG is dropping Gothic I and II so if you or somebody you know needs to get it, do not tarry. Question is, will this forum be supported and will we still be able to download bought games in the future?

No, Gothic 2 & 3 will be removed, not 1 & 2. Forum will stay as it is and yes, you will be able to download bought games in the future.

Strange, I went to my games folder today and Gothic 2 & 3 have been removed from my purchases. Looks like I wasted money - !

Nope, it's a temporary glitch. So, just be patient or contact support.
