As the title says, the game wont start
either from galaxy or launching directly from folder; Game process appears on task manager, galaxy acts as if its running, but it wont actually run.
Any fix for this?

Which game and which operating system are you using? There is a games explorer issue that causes the game to not actually launch. Try launching is a second time. There are also a bunch of topics already here that talk about how to fix this problem with various games.
