Woot Gothic 1 is coming... since I've never played that specific game in the Gothic series I think it will be a pickup for me. Anyone else planning on getting it?

You bet, I'm psyched. Bought Gothic 2 recently, so I'm looking forward to this.
I hope they fix the problems Gothic has with modern Windows computers, like slowdown, movies not showing, etc.

What does 'downloading it now' mean?Given it's not available on G.O.G yet, do you mean it's available from someone else, or are you saying you are pirating it by downloading from a torrent site?! I think you should clarify!
I on the other hand, as with so many classics, have this game, and believe that the Gothic series, now we have Oblivion, is overall better than the Elder Scrolls series. So I can heartily recommend this RPG as I would easily put it in my Top 10 games of all time!

Oh such fond memories of All 3 in the series, I was in such different places and different times in my life when I played through each one.
I wonder...where will I be when I play Gothic 4, France perhaps? :)

This is great i played this game when it was released long ago and it was great but now my game disk is scratched so i cant repair it no more.Its great that GOG has this game they got my money for this game keep up the great work guys

I remember trying to get started in this game a few years back and having OS issues and then never quite getting the control scheme down, oh well another 10 spent here.

WOW! I love this game, it's the best RPG I've ever playd. I think this one has better gameplay and atmosphere than both sequels together. I'm really looking forward to play this again. I own it, but I'll buy it here again:). How else should I thank to developers:)?

Yeah Gothic 2 was my first experiance with the world, and it is a pretty damm good game. I will be looking forward to trying the first one.
( dont feel too hard on yourself. missing the operchanicity to get it..it might turn up here cheap)
( I had real problems running the 3rd gothic thou...Just dident like my computers set up and video card so ran like a dog..whihc is a shame as it looked really interesting)
