You'll need a little more PC muscle to play it compared to Gothic, but its definitely scratching my Gothic itch. The grass is stupid, so I got my hands on the freeware control panel to remove it. The world's brilliant enough without it.

Actually, reminds me of Gothic with The Witcher's alchemy system. You can wander off into the woods, wherever you please, and if you don't get slaughtered by some Grey Wolves or a mutha effin' bear, you can find a whole bunch of plants and helpless animals to kill and use their "ingredients" to make some brutal potions. (and you don't have to meditate to make a potion like in The Witcher)

I like that you can "carve" an animal/monster/bandit without having to apply learning points to learn what and how to remove stuff. ...and you can learn magic without having to join the circle and apply learning points.

There's even Orcs.... and they're the bad news monsters in this game, just like Gothic II.

I've run into some Groms and bandits so far. Which aren't too hard. Lots more armor selections than Gothic, that's for sure. I've gotten some experience from some quests too...

Anyway, the link at the top of the page people.
If you're wanting a game like Gothic until III gets here, this is it.

(Oh please let it not be Two Worlds...) *click* (Oh..)

Sorry, I have an inherent dislike for that game. Imo. it shouldn't even be on GOG. Just my opinion, though.
