Am I reading this correctly, Alternative Balancing is ALL or Nothing? As in, we can't pick and choose which changes we want applied. If so, that's very disappointing to say the least. I can't seem to find any Selection Menu for the differnet changes, as with most community/unoffical patches.

Thanks

Yes, it's all or nothing. The patch team considered AB as a package and that separating the parts would remove the balance. Personally, I use the patch for the bug fixes and skip the AB part.
Thanks for the reply. Yeah, that was my choice too, use the fixes and disable AB. The problem I'm running into is 'the fixes' seemed to have done something to the console. I was around at original release and a fan of PB. In the two previous games, we could use the console to fix glitches/bugs/errors for the most part. Iirc, even Gothic 3 at least the console worked, now with CP at least some of it seems broken.

I tried to Ctl-F into a wrongly (bugged/glitched) NPC, then hit F8. While the health did return he stayed on the ground. I even had trouble getting back to the PC, manually having to type control PC_Hero. Also if I didn't type it fast enough the NPC would lose all his health again. Very strange. The NPC should have popped back up full of health and then I should have been able to jump back into the PC, no problem.

Now I want to try just installing the base game, then test the console. Sadly, I'm not sure if GOG offers the base game without CP.
