Mondgesaenge only lists when the traders get their trading stock, not when they become available to the player. Since Tandor (scriptedly) gets his goods in Chapter 1, the website lists him under traders that get their stock in Chapter 1. He can be accessed, but it requires exploiting some bugs and that's generally neither morally rewarding nor very safe.
Also, you can see that he is listed under Merchants in the Valley of Mines in the Merchants section. Or you can click onto Persons - Tandor to see where/who he is.

I usually skip the Ash Bow and go directly from Composite to Long Bow, which you can find at several places in Jharkendar (for free).

Languages are important, but not that much before exploring/clearing a major part of Jharkendar. I'd advise you to put some points to 1H (at least to 34 - you'll get another 31% with bonuses, plus weapon/Morgan's ring = 75+ % crit chance is good enough even for a pure melee fighter) and STR (at least to ~50-60 - you'll get another 80+ as SLD/DJG without even having to waste King's Sorrels on STR potions = nice +130 bonus to melee damage).
Ok. I just hit clv 17 guildless. I beat all merc. Pickpocketed almost everyone. Still a few ppl left but i need to raise my dex a little. I got into monastery by climbing a wall to the left but i have no idea of how to get out /i dont use marvin/ so i reloaded. But there are some people to pickpocket there for 160 exp each :(

Any tips how i can firther raise my exp in ch1? To 18 would be nice.

Btw i have yet to kill 2 x troll and 1 x black troll. All else dead.

I have a scroll summon demon. I tried it and it killed the 2 trolls in a few hits. Should i save the scroll for some special occasion? I have this funny feeling it might come in handy later...

Any tips generally before venturing into ch2?

Cheers!
I'm not sure IIRC right now, but Sergio should have the key to the monastery. Grab a scroll of Oblivion, get into the monastery, beat Sergio (the paladin), take his key and use Oblivion on him. You should now be able to get inside and outside the monastery freely.

Do not use the summon demon scroll on trolls. It's possible to beat a black troll with Heavy Branch on lvl0 and normal trolls are even easier than that. Just run around them and they should be down fairly quickly.

Don't forget to have your fate revealed to you by Abuyin in each chapter. You'll get 200-400-600-800-1000 XP from him through the game.
Make some tobacco and give it to Abuyin (Honey), the gardener in the Upper Quarter (Herb) and to Dar the mercenary (Mushroom).
Take the golden plate from barracks to Maria for increase in pay.
Take Lehmar's book to Thorben, Coragon and Hanna (in this order, preferably, as you can buy it back from the first two) for some XP, Coragon's special beer and a key to a treasure on an island near the harbor.

If you're 100% sure you finished all the quests, got all the treasures and killed all the monsters in Khorinis, you're free to go to Chapter 2. Since I haven't been watching your playthrough, I can't say if you forgot about something.
Thanx! I forgot about Lehmars's ledger! And I will try to locate Sergio for the key! Plus the blood chalices and this is prety much all of ch1 and i will go to addon world.

I also picked up 10 gobblin berries 9 king sorrel and 5 dragon root so maybe I will just try to locate the rest of these herbs. And i have to check out the stone tablets but i believe i got all bow 1h str and dex . Plus hp and mana.

The troll trick works although i do have to get the hang of it :)

btw, how many lvls can i expect to gain once im done with the addon world? I need to plan some lp allication.

Cheers!

For collecting things, once again, Mondgesaenge -> Maps -> (Topics) Herbs/Potions/Stone Tablets...

I don't usually take notice of that, so I can't tell you. I often come back to Khorinis or even visit VoM (for example, to get the minecrawler armor) before fully exploring Jharkendar.
I use the webpage religiously ;)

The problem i see now is with LP.

I wanted to get my dex to from 64 to 94 with lp = 10 levels.

Languages = 3 levels.

Bow from 34 to 64 % = 6 levels.

So only THIS objective can be reached at clvl approx. 34 :( given my toon .

Or maybe i shall consume potions / tables / pray earlier?

So kind of no room for 1h and str with lp :(
I'd say don't worry about DEX/bows for now. You'll probably end the game somewhere near lvl50 (45-55 are the usual endgame level boundaries), so there is a lot more LPs still to get. Leave DEX be until ~lvl30. Invest those 10-12 levels into languages, STR and 1H instead. Only then get some more training in bows and DEX. You won't really lose much XP on pickpocketing, because not that many pickpocketable people actually move between worlds/die before Chapter 3.

And overally, don't worry that much about the ultimate character development path. I don't think you'll have problems later in the game, so just go with you think is the best for you. ;)

Just to be on the safe side - im about to join the guild, so i pray at inos' for str and mana as guildless now. Then i join the guild and pray again for dex?

I read about claw of beliar. Shall i keep it and upgrade and use instead of master sword or just give away for some extra exp?

Cheers!
Yes. For a DEX-based mercenary, pray for 10x STR and 20x MP before joining them. Then pray for 10x DEX once you have no intentions to further invest LPs into DEX.

Beliar's Claw is one of the best melee weapons for non-melee characters. It requires no STR, levels up with you (up to lvl47), adapts to your fighting skills (1H/2H), has max damage of 110 (as1H) or 120 (as 2H) plus up to 50% chance to inflict 100 direct damage, which ignores armor. Generally, do not give it away. You would only get 2000 XP, which is (more-or-less) negligible.

Ok. Thank you. And the same praying pattern would apply to dex paladin, wouldn't it?

I just saw a utube vid of beliar claw. It might be fun :)

And the hp cost of upgrading the claw will be negligable too as i can pray later for hp only and do that indefinitely?
Yes, the same applies also to DEX paladins, but not to DEX mages.

Praying for HP is available to everyone, always (but still just once a day), indefinitely.
If you donate nothing, you have 5% chance to get +1HP; for 10 gold, 100% to get +1HP; for 50 gold, it's +2HP and for 100 gold, it's +3HP.

For a non-melee character, I agree. Melee characters can get awesome weapons later in the game, so it's a tougher call.

For mages the Claw is garbage. You don't get a sword you get spell runes, and the runes are so bad it's annoying. Mages are better off taking the XP.

For tomaja's character the Claw is good.
I never give it to Saturas, even though I agree it's far from useful for mages and, partially, melee characters. More of a matter of taste.

Yes, many of my remarks and hints in this thread apply mostly to tomaja's current playthrough, because trying to cover everything would be probably too long and unnecessary (for now).
At about clvl 19 and a little I finally joined a guild /ok, ok i joined those stuckup paladins but at least i got my amulet of agility :) /

I am doing it the harder way but it is fun and i really like the base leather armour :) i got my dex to 90 /with ring belt and amulet/ and learned all 3 languages - i have found LOTS of stone tablets, including all dex bow str and 1h so far. 11 goblin berries. Missed one someplace. 10 king sorrel :)

Now i will go into the addon world and next to VoM. .

Btw, shall i bother with any of the paladins runes or are they a dead loss?
First thing you have to know is that offensive paladin spells usually only work on "evil" creatures. Second, they (and magic as a whole) were severely nerfed in comparison to G2 (mainly due to increased mana cost and resistances). For example, Holy Arrow was the ultimate orc-killing spell in G2. Not anymore.

That being said, the basic ones (Holy Light, Lesser Healing, Holy Arrow - at least for killing skeletons and provoking creatures from groups) are still usable. I don't usually learn them, though, as you can get Holy Light legally at the beginning of VoM and Holy Arrow using an exploit involving guards of the pass to VoM in chapters 2/3. Healing is more-or-less worthless when you can get through most of the fights unscathed and healing potions are abundant.
