I have a problem with a Gorogoa. First two pictures dissapeared at the start. But when name GOROGOA shown, game stuck and I can't do anything.

Can someone help?
Same problem, I`ve just bought it, tried all support people is telling, and does not work

Same problem here too with Windows 10 and an Intel video chipset.
Any news from the developers?
Any patch in sight, or shall I ask for a refund?

Same problem. Game starts.... Then just sits on the title screen. No mouse in sight. I know this is a mouse-driven game... Any chance that the game is just on top of the mouse..?

I was so looking forward to this game.

The recent patch must have fixed the problem. Everything works fine for me now.

Same issuer here, just hangs a couple seconds after starting it. Sent them the DirectX information.

Thank you! I can confirm, installing the latest Visual C++ Redistributable package solved the problem for me.

Still an issue in 2021. It hungs on GOROGOA screen.
I tried all what was suggested in this thread but nothing worked.

That's such a pity - I was really looking forward to it...

Doesn't work in 2022 also...
Windows 10, Xbox app.

I found solution. Changing system language to English fixed problem. Then I changed game language to my language, windows back to previous and now works.

Had same issue on Windows 10, even after changing language to English.

From C:\Users\[username]\AppData\LocalLow\Annapurna\Gorogoa\output_log.txt:
Fallback handler could not load library D:/Jeux/Gorogoa/Gorogoa_Data/Mono/libGalaxyCSharpGlue
Plugins: Failed to load 'D:/Jeux/Gorogoa/Gorogoa_Data/Plugins/GalaxyCSharpGlue.dll' with error 'Le module spécifié est introuvable.'.

As suggested at https://www.gog.com/forum/kingsway/game_wont_start_stuck_on_loading_screen, I downloaded and installed Mono framework from mono-project.com (6.12.0), and it solved the issue.

I can confirm that this works! On Windows 11it was not passing the title screen until I installed Mono. Then it instantly started to work. Here are my current versions, in case someone else is reading this:

* Gorogoa 1.1.0 (20406)
* Windows 11 Pro (version 21H2)
* Mono 6.12.0 (6.12.0.107 64-bit)

That solved it for my setup (Win10) , Intel i5 11th gen, Iris XE as well.
