DarkSimplexity: I didn't keep me informed about the series, as ist was not availabe for PC, but played the first GoW on a friends console. But this just has the same name, it's not the original GoW, which then probably will never be released for PC :-(.

So from those who are informed, the internet says this is kinda open world, while the first parts were not (as far as I remember).
Is this like Mafia 2 to Mafia 3 bad or, even worse, Shadow Warrior 1 -> 2 bad? Or is this still story focused and actually good?

I really have no need for another open world, run around and collect uninteresting crap game.

u2jedi: I highly recommend getting a used Playstation 3 slim version then you can pick up used copies of all the previous God of War games on eBay or at secondhand stores for not much money. I have all the God of War games before Playstation 4 including the ports from the Playstation Vita.

Then you won't have to deal with the ones that came out after.
