So I was playing this game several months ago, and thoroughly enjoyed it, until I got to the part where you play as a giant. This seems like it should have been incredibly fun, but it just bored me to death. Is there something I'm missing? Does anyone have any tips for how to have fun playing as Kabuto? I start a lot of games without finishing them, and I'd really like to finish Giants.

Well, the Kabuto portion of the game is the weakest part of the entire game. It is also the easiest to complete and win at in the game as well.

Here is a link to the Hints and Tips post I created that may be of some use.

Here is a useful Kabuto tip from that post.

9. Do not forget when playing Kabuto, if you pick up an enemy or Vimp (Right Mouse Button) and then hit the X Key Kabuto will impale what he is holding on his frontal spikes which can be saved for later.

Plus this just looks cool if you hit the F Key to view the character from the front.

To be honest the best reason to complete the Kabuto portion of the game is to finish the game and watch the cut scenes! :o)

It is fun to stomp things with Kabuto, and also Impale eatable items on Kabuto's front horns.

One thing about Kabuto is that if you are a bit bored at times you can simple walk over mountains bypassing some battles you might find tedious.

I would recommend that you simple have fun with him causing destruction to all that gets in his way and impale stuff on him and then turn the camera to look at him.

Remember, the game is about the journey and not the destination, but when you hit the Kabuto part it flips and becomes more about the destination to see every cut scene then the travels of getting Kabuto there!

Enjoy the game as you are now real close to the finish line. Keep at it as I do not think you will be disappointed you took the time to complete the game. :o)
