I was having an issue where after installing the GiantsHook and the GRM, my land textures would be missing/invisible. I just installed the geforce3 converter, and it fixed all my problems. In case anyone else had a similar problem. I'm running a Radeon 4850, btw.

MitchB84: Does the graphical revision mod cause severe graphical corruption for any one else? Seems to make all my textures transparent.
Vista
Radeon X1900XT
Up-to-date drivers.

I experienced the same issue with my HD2900Pro and Catalyst 8.8, the problem was caused by "DirectX 8 support" option in installation of GRM, just disabled it and everything runs fine.....
I just was about to post a new thread asking if anyone had tried the GRM when I saw your list. Great support, guys, many thanks.
I knew nothing of Giants until now. Its a hoot, very refreshing.
Like others I now have transparent textures, cant seem to fix it.

You can fix that very easily by applying the gforce3 converter mod LAST http://www.giantswd.org/index.php?file=31&search_name=geforce+3&search_author=&search_type=&search_db=&sort=Name&Submit=Search make sure you tick the 'new textures' well tick them all they are all nice addons.

Ohhh!
When I'm done downloading the game, I'll get some of these mods!
I'm a bit confused. I have GiantsHook and the GRM installed already. Is the GF 3 Converter even necessary if I already have those?

I didn't think so, but my textures were transparent after installing GRM. If I turned of bump mapping they showed up again. I installed GF3 Converter and was able to turn bump mapping backing on. It looks great!
The GRM is a great addition! It's a fairly subtle update but very nice to have. Thanks!
Currently downloading, but many thanks for this post. It will surely come in handy in a few minutes :D
Just out of curiosity - has anyone here tried GiantsHook? It was developed prior to the release of Giants on GoG, and we'd be very interested to know if it works or not with this version of the game, or if anyone has had issues with any of the features.

Uhm, from what I can tell from the screenshot, this skin actually puts MORE clothes on her. How exactly is that more erotic? Granted, her skin color looks somewhat more natural, but still...

It is listed on the very first page of this thread as one of the mods tested by the GOG devs with the GOG version of the game.
Avast is telling me that Giants Hook is a trojan is this just a false alarm?

GiantsHook relies on techniques similar to what is used by some types of malicious software in order to inject its code into the game... not ideal considering the possibility it presents for false positives such as this, but pretty much the only option given the extent of the changes it makes.
At any rate, GiantsHook as a whole should be obsolete within a couple months.
