Giants is an old favorite of mine. Because of GOG's Interplay promo, I decided to check if my retail edition would work on my current computer. It didn't, even after patching it to 1.4. Is there any way I can solve this problem, and if not, can I expect GOG's version to perform better?

Does ANYONE have those 4 dll files? Megaupload is shut down and I've been trying all day to find an alternative download site but so far no luck.

For anyone who still has this problem you can download patch 1.5 as a solution

Hello! I love this game, one of my all-time favorites. I just recently bought it here on GoG and am wondering if it's normal that I cannot enable environment bumpmapping on Intel 4000 laptop integrated graphics card? Can't choose nVidia GeForce 640M as well, but that's to be expected I guess.

Just force Giants to run with your Geforce GPU through Nvidia Control Panel. I have Optimus too and I do it this way for games like Call of Duty 4 and Alan Wake..

That one is from 2004. Maybe I should take a holiday and why not visit Slovenia. I could bring my old computer, that is currently in my use, with me and return home without it.

It's nice and all from you and Slovenia is a very pretty nice place. But i have other games to play in my library. I only tested if it would work since i saw an amazing review for this game. Flatout 2 did work, but this game did mention something about that you need a graphic card and not an integrated one.

Also from 222 games i beaten only 49 by now from GOG games.
I decided to install spellforce platinum DVD version yesterday then i am playing that pretty much. I have games.
Getting a new pc i am still waiting to see something will pm you what it is.
Also i got the game giants citizen kabuto for free here when there was a giveaway.
