Will there be any?
This is a very good question, I would also be interested in the integration of the Achievements
Please, add achievements as the features of the game, that will be one more reason to buy this game on Gog.

Me too.
I really want to buy the game on GOG, but if only steam version will have achievements maybe I sadly buy it there.
Same for me.
I don't preorder because of this.

I don't think that there will be any achievements, but unfortunately that is a recurring issue in most games released on GOG. A lot of people tend to blame the developers, but from the looks of it developing stuff like achievements for GOG galaxy is harder than for other platforms like Steam. For larger teams it might be easier to devote time to those aspects, but when you are a smaller team that has to satisfy a large publisher (as is the case now) and release a game with as little issues as possible so you can increase your sales and keep the suits happy, it might not be practical to devote that extra time when you could be working on an important patch. Add to that the fact that the crowd size on GOG is much smaller than on Steam and it becomes quite obvious why not a lot of smaller indie titles don't have achievements on GOG but have on Steam.

I really don't think that not having achievements is a big deal. I know that most people have an issue with the lack of achievements more from a moral standpoint - If I'm paying the same as a steam costumer why can't I get the same features? But if we continue to support these titles on steam we will be able to demonstrate that this is a platform investing in. I personally much rather have a DRM free game that I can play anywhere at any time, without a laucher, activation and sometimes downright spyware, than getting a ping everytime I collected 50,000 medals in one run. It's a nice pat on the back, yeah, but a useless one. This game has a lot of promise to it and I would 100% rather support it on GOG.

Anyways I've gone on for too long, I hope you get it on GOG and enjoy your game :)

You're right, but in a game like Ghostrunner, where you can post best time in leaderboards, achievements are really important. If talk of an RPG, or Adventure game I totally agree with you. But in a speedrun game like Ghostrunner the game miss something important I think.

Yeah, I understand that is important to you, you might want to go to a store that has those characteristics. So probably steam would be preferable. However if you are like me, that just wants to enjoy a good game, the benefit of a DRM free copy trumps that.

Also, I think that scoreboards aren't kept by achivements, they will most likely be kept internally no? Like an in-game system that tallys the best times? Or do you mean an achievement when you get the best time?

DRM free it's important to me too.
I prefer always buy on GOG if I can.
This time I am very doubtful because I want the game at day one without lose the preorder 20% discount.
I have a few hours to decide.
Maybe in the end I will choose GOG but I hope they will add achievements in future.

Achievements do tend to come in, however not on day on as there are always massive patches on the first weeks.

Also, low-key the preorder sword is better on gog - my view though

Will defo have on the future, another incentive to play again! :D
There is a chance that achievements will be added in Gog version: https://www.exophase.com/games/?q=Ghostrunner

I have seen that page but I don't know what it means.

Anyway I bought the game on GOG because I want to trust and support.
I can't wait for them to unlock it. :D
From what I've seen with recent games, the feature is only displayed once the game launches.
According to the Store Page right now, Achivement's are officially supported on GoG.
