My thoughts exactly! That said, the russian intervention in Georgia did happen in 2008.

Edit: coincidentally, I've been playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. recently...

Actually, there was war between Georgia and Russia in 2008. :)

Play STALKER - regions of Ukraine where combat is going look very similar now. I on;y hope, that Metro 2033 or Last Light will remain pure fiction and wont get to the news.
