Yep, After you got the safe, you went out the way you came. But you have to get out of the catacombs through another place. You must retrace your steps after seeing the ghost and you arrive in a sort of large circular cage. As you walk around, you'll see another way out. The door is blocked but you must wear your armor to be heavy enough and trigger the mechanism. After that you will see a giant bird that will break the chest and you will be able to recover its contents to bring it to silas.

I see big bird. First time when I see it, it´s fallen something bag and I get it but then I start again. I walk many time in same place but not see bird. Then it coming again but I don´t see nothing chest or bag. I see where is it and I see (you cant talk) talk bubble in map, but I can´t talk with bird Magpie. When I push A KEROLD Say - dialog_ravig?

arf...you may have to reload an old savegame before the catacombs...an update is loadin at this time it may fix your bug.

In my game the bird is in the big cage but i can't interact with him. I also see the bubble on the map but there is nothing. Sorry i have no idea for your pro.

I have the same problem with the magpie. Looks like i'll have to start from scratch :(

Also Silas is nowhere to be found, he's replaced by a random guard. I searched for him pretty much everywhere. This is after the mices arrived on the boat and i did a few things for them. Is this a bug too, or did I miss something ?
I'll be starting again next week-end anyway, but I'd like to know.

I just realized I have this problem too. The magpie is in a cage, and its chat bubble is somewhere else on the map.

Update: It solved itself ... somehow. Once I had the proper costume I approached the area again. The map marker is still in the wrong location, but the bird is no longer in the cage and can be spoken to.
