As for This War of Mine, we're waiting for the latest version and we keep trying to get it ...

Not contesting your right to be annoyed, but Latha not an addict. At no point she engages in pointless/self-destructive/harmful actions to get a fix. She's unemployed because the world is in a permanent crisis of demand (a staple of cyberpunk settings, spelled out in supplementary materials in the deluxey pack); she can't "get a job" because there are no more paid jobs to be had, fullstop. The shadow economy she participates in suffers no such crisis, however, and she's active and productive there and enjoys high status. Then she loses access to her assets, status, work and home.

I don't know...I mean the way she goes on and on about not being hooked up to the net all the time makes me think she's addicted. I will say I am no expert on addiction and the like, I am simply speaking from what I saw with actual addicts here and there in my life.

Because that's where she lives. Imagine you got robbed while in a foreign country and were stuck there without documents or money, and had to sit locked up in a police precinct as an undocumented alien because no one would take responsibility for your case or contact the consulate. How far from your mind would "screw this, I want to go home" be?

People aren't addicted if they want something or like something or can't shut up about something. The key element is disregard for adverse consequences, "I don't care that my life is falling apart". "I want my life back to normal" is exactly the opposite. If she went around exploding people's residences in exchange for a VR connection, then yes, that'd be really problematic.

Мне за сегодняшний день уже надоело кликать по кнопке "Добавить в список желаемого". GOG что-то совсем разошёлся.

Уже 407 наименований в списке. У меня в Steam было максимум 260.

Нужен совет знающих людей. Хочу купить саундтрек одной игрушки.Продаётся только в iTunes и на Amazon (mp3). Но на iTunes его нет в российском каталоге, а Amazon не принимает мою Сбербанковскую карточку. Говорит, что банк должен находится на территории, соответствующей магазину. Кто-нибудь покупал mp3 на Amazon с территории России? Это возможно?

я железки покупал, не виртуальный товар. этот магаз - конкретно штатовские наци. нужна пейпалка. а если доставка физической шмотки - то только через промежуточный адрес в штатах. ну, может мексы или канада проканают - я не проверял.
