I bought Swat 4 gold edition... but, after it, I've noticed that the launcher needs a win 8 or higher to work... Is there any way to play in win7?

If you want to use GOG Galaxy, go ahead and install it using the full installer and see if it works. The first link is for Mac and the second for Windows. Though the system requirements say Windows 8 or higher, it has received at least one patch for Windows 7 compatibility since then.

If you don't want to use GOG Galaxy, use a web browser to log into your account and download the offline installer for the game from your library.
yes and no

Galaxy and Unreal engine both want to goto the internet in order to look for updates and that will not work on W7 because the Net is too old and has been retired now

the actual Swat 4 game can be hacked to work in W7 but none of the mutiplayer will work which imo is really the point of the game so its not worth it

as a workaround for older hardware you could have a Windows 10 system with vmwear workstation and run the game on a V-W7 if you really want to because that will give you a path to working net but the Graphics would need to be that sweet spot [able to run on W10 while still old enough to use W7 drivers]... hyper-v works on games that don't need graphics but vmwear has much better backwards compatabilly
I'm still on Win7 on one of my machines.

The weird thing is, Galaxy works fine ONLY after having reinstalled it.

But now when i try to start it i get a weird problem where the cursor goes into "busy" mode, and then the helper application crashes. This then goes on forever unless i manually kill the Galaxy Process.
Not sure which exact version of the 2.x client I have currently installed on my Windows 7 VM, but it seems to still update games at least, even if Dying Light's multiplayer stopped working over eight months ago.

Retired? When? At least about six months ago I could access the internet with a native Windows 7 system just fine, when I purposefully did that to confirm that my unfortunate timing at switching to a new VM host didn't have anything to do with my sudden inability to continue to play Coop with Dying Light.
