been trying to setup galaxy but i keep getting the same error message "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142)"

I cannot start it either. It says it cannot launch because it is already running on a different account on this machine.

WTF is going on?

It refuses to connect for me and just freezes constantly for literally no reason. Then it eventually tells me it can't communicate with anything and shuts itself down. No other launcher I have has this problem at all.

Well, that was weird. now it is working

I just restarted my machine, and it worked after that.
I have no idea why a restart made it work, but it did.
