samismad: Thanks a lot ! it works for me too.
i am pleased you shared the tip and may share it around me as well, thanks for the friends.

a question for everyone : wouldn't it be easy and cheap for GOG itself to correct these lines directly in their code, with an update?

DataBitz: Some has, its just waiting for approval.

Considering the other pull request, that's not going to happen.

Using the GOG-Nebula _may_ have better success. https://github.com/GOG-Nebula/galaxy-integration-uplay

Sylwester-Z: There are more updates for Ubi. Find it on Github - issue #42, second post.

Copy here:
Open the Python file "%LOCALAPPDATA%\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\uplay_afb5a69c-b2ee-4d58-b916-f4cd75d4999a\consts.py" in a text editor.

Change line 15 and 16 to:

CLUB_APPID = "f35adcb5-1911-440c-b1c9-48fdc1701c68"
CLUB_GENOME_ID = "5b36b900-65d8-47f3-93c8-86bdaa48ab50"

Save the file, exit and relaunch Galaxy. You may need to disconnect and reconnect Ubi in Galaxy
Bro really saved my butt. My ps4, and ps5 were recently stolen during a move. Most of my PlayStation games carried over to PC after messing with the files. I don't have to buy all of the games off of Ubi now.
Ubisoft have changed the the APP and GENOME ID's again as of Nov 4 2023.

"%LOCALAPPDATA%\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\uplay_afb5a69c-b2ee-4d58-b916-f4cd75d4999a\consts.py"

Change the following lines to:

The "connection lost" error returned to me today but the fix does not work anyymore :(

Edit: Nevermind - after a restart the fix worked :)

It doesn't work for me, I completely reinstalled Windows 11, installed GOG and the error still appears.
Other solutions?
November 16 2023.
Tried the fix as instructed. Galaxy did not immediately lose the Ubisoft connection after I connected it.
It has been about two minutes since I put in the fix and Uplay is still connected.
