exe3: The only reason I haven't tried Playnite yet is because i'm hesitant to link all my accounts to a third party.
Perfectly understandable and I can relate, however, consider the fact that everything other than the Epic Games Store and Xbox integrations is from a third party, that's why this mess of broken integrations being handled by abandoned Github accounts is happening. As for Playnite, which I switched over to about 2 weeks after the Steam integration broke, it is indeed a third party and carries all the same risks. That being said, it also offers way more customizability, though at the expense of polish. Here're some snips of my current layout
https://imgur.com/a/S3bEdaT, took me probably a total of a full day to tinker with it to my liking but it's lacking a few things, such as:
-Incorrect cover art by default, needing download of correct cover art through the IGDB
-Not carrying over playtime of Ubisoft Connect games
At the end of the day though, I can do the thing I primarily used GOG 2.0 for, launch all my games through one application.
