alaskan.596: This takes me to a 1.0.4 beta. Why is the beta version older than the release? I'm on beta release 2.0.84 Beta June 2025 and this steam integration has been an issue for multiple releases.. I tried removing both gog and steam and reinstalling both and no help. I'm not about to try turning off security features because some developer is anti-security.

MasterZoen: Yes, that link takes you to an old beta version, not the current beta version, but it's the version of the plugin, not Galaxy. Just click "galaxy-integration-steam" in the upper left to take you to the main page of the project and then click releases and download the latest beta version.

You might also want to try this one:

You're a LIFESAVER. The instructions with the previous version referenced above your message was not doing the trick - the galaxy-integration-steam GitHub repo had the release version that worked for me (all without having to log out of GOG entirely I should add to get the steps to work!)
While the Steam Integration *generally* works for me (I started with the FriendsOfGalaxy version, now on the GOG-Orion version), I have a recurring problem with incorrect mapping of some games. I had this issue in the past with Dead Space and Resident Evil remakes (it somehow resolved on its own after a while), now I have it with the Silent Hill 2 remake - it shows in my GOG library as the classic SH2, not the remake.

Is there any way to fix it manually on my end?
