Same here, almost 25 steam games are missing :(
I've got the same issue even without having family view enabled. It works for a day or two, but once I log in on steam on a second PC, i need to reconnect with 2FA and all.

Hello,

I have the same chosen here, I have tried several chosen like uninstall steam + game, uninstall Gog, two chose that I hadn't done for years telling me it would come from there. Tested the various solutions found by removing the Steam 'Plugin' from AppData, then taking it into account on its Steam account at Galaxy.
But nothing helps, it's still as broken.

It has been going on for several weeks, thinking that an Update will go out, but nothing helps.

Crash all time, constantly !

Not completely sure if it's the same issue (I think it is) but few days ago there was a post in github about an upcoming "semi-solution" for "new plugin can't auto connect steam after restart gog"

Link to the issue thread:
https://github.com/FriendsOfGalaxy/galaxy-integration-steam/issues/39

and in case you can't visit github
Thanks! I was investigating this issue and have a semi-solution ready in an upcoming update. It seem that sometimes when authenticating with the stored token we receive an unexpected error message from steam backend, right now we would translate that to a plugin crash but instead we will put the plugin in offline mode since the stored token is probably ok.

This will result in the plugin still being operable and displaying all the games etc. and also ready to try connecting again when the user clicks on 'retry' button.

This is the best solution i could come up with right now but will definitely revisit the issue at some point in time.
Well, the update for the plugin is live so I tried it and it looks like it was working as the text in my previous post said.

After the first successful login and import my steam library data I closed galaxy and open the steam client to try to reproduce the problems with the integration.

I closed steam and open galaxy again to check the plugin. It seems it failed and it went in offline mode. The steam games still appeared in the “All games” section of galaxy but not in the “installed”, my steam friends also appears in galaxy’s friend list.

I tried clicking retry in the integrations menu but the plugin never went online. Also there was no indication that when I click retry galaxy was trying to connect, I was not sure if it was doing anything at all.

But it seems it was because when I tried to login back in the steam client I couldn’t, the reason that the client indicate was too many failed attempts to login in a short time.

Hi,
I experienced exactly the same problems. Even if steam and galaxy are opened, installed steam games are not visible. A game that was actually installed was not playable via galaxy. The only option I had was "install" which also didn't work...

Mine shows offline (retry) as well, but retrying does nothing. I disconnected the integration and reconnected and it still shows offline.

At this point I personally gave up with the steam integration.
I keep checking github from time to time to read about the updates for the plugin, the developer is active and he's trying to fix the issues, but the current state of the integration , in my opinion, is not good enough to have any use.
Daily disconnect of the Steam integration, retry does nothing for me. I'm tired of disconnecting and reconnecting Steam every day plus the integration crashing while importing my games on Steam.

Same here.
Hope someone can help with that.
I don't know what else i can do.
Before today the Steam Integration worked just fine (well sometimes some games were not displayed but that was okay),
but now i always get the "offline (retry)" and clicking on retry doesn't change anything,

Seems to be an issue with cached data, have you guys read the post from Ilona ?
I'm unable to post a link here, else I would quote it because it's not my work and the KUDOS are hers.
Here's what she wrote - you can literally copy the paths into Windows Explorer because she uses %variables% , select the "steam" named file and SHIFT-DEL, then launch Galaxy again and re-connect Steam :

I've had a similar issue. My Steam integration was offline and unable to connect.
I found out that, for some reason, the plugin was unable to update to the new version.
So I completely closed Galaxy and deleted
steam_[..a bunch of numbers..]-storage.db file from %programdata%\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage\plugins\
and
steam_[..a bunch of numbers..] folder from %localappdata%\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\
After the next Galaxy launch, I was able to download the new Steam plugin in the integration settings.
Connected again, and everything is working fine so far.
