When I create a connection to Steam the connection seems to work fine. However, if I ever launch the Steam client the next time I launch GOG Galaxy the connection is broken.

I am using Steam with the protected family view, I'm guessing that has something, but I'm not sure.

I have the exact same issue. Works fine when in GOG Galaxy, but next day connection is lost. Also using Steam Family View. Also, all other clients stay connected (i.e. Epic, Xbox, Origin and Uplay).
Same here!!!
same here too!
Doesn't happen to me. I wonder what is different.

This just started happening to me over the last week or so, I have to reconnect my Steam library each time.
The exact same things happens to me all the time. Every day I connect steam to gog and the other day I have to reconnect it again.
This is an ongoing issue since gog galaxy came out.
What is going on with this?
I'm having the same problem described here. GOG 2.0, Steam loses the connection regularly - I assume each time I restart my PC (I know folks will say to keep it on 24/7, but I live in South America and power isn't exactly cheap or stable, so best to shut down when not in use.)

I love the GOG 2.0 interface, and having different platforms mixed together, but it's an annoyance to go through the 2FA process daily.
Another one here with daily disconnects from Steam.

Not sure about this but I suppose it could be related to the new implementation for the steam login:

https://github.com/FriendsOfGalaxy/galaxy-integration-steam/releases/tag/0.46.9

This is from an old version (current version is 0.49) but maybe something is not working as intended with the plugin.

Me too, I have the same problem. Moreover, when I reconnect steam, GOG Galaxy not ever is able to see all the games. For instance, I absolutely hates "My Time at Portia". It simply disappear by my list of steam games.
Same shit here :(
Any Solutions so far?
Same problem here.
It used to be better with the closed beta stages, though less features were available, but now it keeps disconnecting my Steam integration every odd hour or so making it unusable. Hopefully this gets sorted out.
Or maybe there is a Steam Client-side limitation on timeout regarding non-steam connections?
I just noticed that the plugin for steam was updated few days ago (just to clarify it was automatically downloaded, I didn't have to manually download it from github) and, for me, it seems that it's not loosing connection with steam... at least for one day, let see if it holds.

Edit: Ok never mind, after launching the steam client the connection was lost again.

THe Crew, is not showing up for me, maybe others as well. I looked for The Crew 2 and noticed 1 was missing.
