It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

-------------------------------------

workaround until they fix it:

- close GOG Galaxy if it's running at the moment

- log in to PSN (store.playstation.com) through your browser
(if you were already logged in, log out first, then back in)

- after the login open this link: https://ca.account.sony.com/api/v1/ssocookie

youll get something like: {"npsso":"xxx"}
where xxx is the npsso value

- open windows explorer and enter the following into the address bar at the top and press enter
%LocalAppData%\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\

- open the psn_{random number} folder and edit the plugin.py file with your favourite text editor

- go to line 64. it sould look like this:
stored_npsso = stored_credentials.get("npsso") if stored_credentials else None

delete everything on that line after: stored_npsso =
then add your nppso value behind it in quotation marks.

it should look like this:
stored_npsso = "npsso value"

("npsso value" is the value from step 3 and should be a 64 character long text consisting of numbers, lower case letters and upper case letters)
(the quotation marks " " are important!)

- save the changes made to plugin.py and close the file
- restart GOG Galaxy
- try connecting with PSN again
Having this PSN issue for a couple days here. The workaround works fine and is well elaborated, then thanks for it.
Just hope support take a look on the issue soon since should be the client that aren't doing its job automatically, which makes users need need to manually do this part of the proccess.

oReXeRo: I have the same issue. Might this be caused by the fact that I use a 2 step varification which seems not to be supported by the embedded browser plugin?

Thank you! thank you! thank you!! This worked great!
I tried every browser and I do not get "NPSSO:xxxx" when I use that link "https_//ca.account_sony._om/api/v1/ssocookie". I logged onto Playstation network in the browser first in all attempts

Bertlor: You're amazing man! I've had this linked in the past and some reason it wasn't any longer... been trying to get it to reconnect and this finally solved it for me! (even tried this morning without these steps first to make sure it was still broke before I tried them)
Awesome! Thank you, now it's working .

Can I ask what file editor you're using? I've attempted downloading a few free text editors, and it doesn't seem to be working for me.

big thanx, I don't know what I'd do without you
avatar
arjiwan: Close your GOG, then delete the GOG folder in your APP data

%LocalAppData%\GOG.com\

When you run Galaxy, it will recreate the folder.

Because the sso value has already expired. You need to create another sso value.

EDIT: Made it, forgot to use the quotation marks, they are rather very important lol

once I pull it up, what does it mean by edit the file with your favorite text editor? I can get all the way to that step but can't edit the plugin.py

A text editor is an app that'll let you alter the lines of code! I snagged UltraEdit (free trial version) for this purpose and it worked just fine. If you want further help on that, I'd be more than happy to walk you through!
