It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Nikaas: Initially Galaxy was promising as the one launcher but it seems they kind of gave up on that aspect. That in turn made me give up on Galaxy and switch to Playnite. For me it is doing far better job at combining all the games in one place.
I just tried this and I like that it can be done to only get the games that I have installed. I like it. Never knew about it thanks!
Only using it for Gog for now

*The update is available but crashes when I try to install.

Anyone else experiencing a crash when trying to update?

If it's the update
version: 2.0.57 - January 24th 2023
don't do it anyway.

It told me that some necessary files were not present; I manually downloaded the installer and it updated without any issues so far

Thanks for the reply! That's a bummer, I'd rather not have to workaround the latest update.

Thanks again though!

Snickersnack: The scroll bar for tags seems to have gone missing for me in the last update.
Same for me. The tag list has the first 32 tags but I am unable to scroll down or the rest.
Submitted via the official bug tracker.
With the last update I found out that most of the time when I open Galaxy, the integrations are all disconnected, and if I go on the settings and try to press the connect buttons, nothing happens.

If I close and reopen Galaxy, then all the intergrations starts without issues.

It doesn't anyway show any kind of error messages...
for example when it's unable to connect to some other accounts it shows a red dot, and there's a "retry" button in the settings, instead in this case seems like it just don't even try to connect.
I'm unable to launch GOG at all. I just keep getting an error message "Unable to connect to GOG.com. Please check your internet connection." But my internet connection is fine.

Same here, except I can't get any integration to work again. They keep being disconnected.

Edit: This time they all worked after a restart lol

This isn't new to me, it also happened in the past. Maybe we could find something useful in the logs, but since restarting galaxy fixes the issue I'm good with it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also, when this happens, the UI reacts ultra slowly
I updated (?) to the 2.0.58... but during the restarting, a message told that wasn't possible to update the client and I had to download it manually from the site... I clicked OK and Galaxy started... with the Changelog of the 2.0.58 version...

For now I can't see issues... it loaded all the integrations, and the connectivity stuff seems all working...

Same issue for me. It apears the message that i need to update, then the client close but get en error message so and I should need to download gog galaxy from scratch.

Any fix ?

I have the same issue, the client closes, after a few seconds it says it can't update and that I should try installing from the website, however (as embarrassing it is to admit) my system is still windows 7 so I am unsure if I can install from the launcher considering galaxy lists its requirements as 8 or newer. So here's hoping the next hotfix fixes this issue
