Hello all,

A simple question really, but I can't find any option in the integration centre to remove a community integration.

I ask as I'm having GOG Galaxy get stuck importing, and I noticed the Humble and Uplay integrations are forever spinning on the integrations centre, so I want to remove or at least disable them to see if they are the actual cause of the problem.

There is no visible option to do this, and right-clicking doesn't bring up anything either.

Thanks in advance,
Tony.

If you go to the settings, you should see little X icons next to the integrations (if you're connected), clicking on the X will remove the integration.
If you are not connected, you have to connect first and then disconnect.

Please consider changing this. If I've decided 3rd party plugins are a security risk and no longer wish to use them and I want to remove those games from showing in Galaxy, do not force to me log in through 3rd party plugins again to do so.

This also goes against the claim of "Your data belongs to you - With a single click, you can remove your imported data from our servers." If it's removing data from your servers, why must I log in elsewhere to remove it?

Wrong answer. As ftfy said, it's unacceptable.

Oh, and the fact that all these platforms are "integrated" by third party and thus obviously untrusted code, and you do *nothing* to make users aware of that… nay, it truly sounds like it's *ALL* your code, when it isn't. I expected better of you, really disappointed to angry.

Going back to 1.x right now. Do better. MUCH better.

EDIT: Okay, I did went to 2.0 again. It "works" (for some very generous definition of works)

But… how the hell do I remove an unused integration? I have the PSN integration in the list somehow (I do think it was there by default). I don't use it at all, because I DON'T EVEN HAVE A PSn (n ∈ {1, 2, 3, 4, 5}). I'd like to remove it, obviously without having to connect first (BECAUSE I CAN'T).

hello,
same problem here.
i want to remove the 'Bethesda.net'-plugin.
because Microsoft has bought it and all my games are on Steam now.

were are the 3rd-party-plugin-files are stored?

my english is not the best,
so i did not understand the previous postings,
if there were a solution inside...

thanks a lot.

---

edit:

i found a solution.
i removed the 'bethesda_*'-folder in "%LOCALAPPDATA%\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed"

seems to work.

it would be nice, if gog integrate a removal-option inside the launcher-app.

have a nice day...

edit2:

@orutkowski

unfortunately,
there is no such option in the current launcher,
under your conditions.

but at least... i tried. ;)

I suspect I won't be the FIRST person to come back to this topic now that Bethesda has shut down their launcher, and the Bethesda.net integration is now entirely useless... but maybe I am?

I have tried to figure this out on my own, with no luck whatsoever, so far. I've "disconnected," and then gone into the "Programdata" directory and my "user" directory where the data related to a plugins is supposed to be stored.

And yet, for some reason, the Bethesda integration continues to show up in my list, and files keep getting downloaded and reinstalled.

For a service which is literally GONE now. (For those not in the know, Bethesda.net transferred all their paid games over to Steam in April and early this month, and no longer allows you to launch from their service, though the web site still exists for the moment.)

I don't "need" a service which literally no longer exists... but GoG Galaxy 2.0 seems not to want to allow me to simply remove it.

I LOVE the idea of integrations. And as long as the integration code is just python scripting, entirely open source and relatively easily read... I'm just fine with third-party integrations as well as "GoG authored" ones.

But it seems that you guys really never thought about an easy way to REMOVE them... and that's been the case for YEARS now. That's really sort of unacceptable.

If you're going to add a feature... do it right, before you release it into the wild. Integrations should be just as easily removed as they are installed. Failing to do so... well, it's just SLOPPY.
