Hello GOG!

I love Galaxy 2.0, but for whatever reason, I frequently have to reconnect my Steam, Epic, and Uplay accounts. What gives?

This way it seems almost more convenient to just run the respective clients.

Best regards,

Yea I am having this problem too, I decided to stop connecting platforms to a later day because its annoying.
I still have this problem.

On the bottom right (picture) you can see that only Steam is still connected, but on the top left you can see that other connections are present. When adding new games to an account which is currently noted as not connected, the games won't be available in GOG Galaxy 2.0 until I reconnect that particular account. It only shows games available from when the accounts were previously connected.

Is there a way to avoid having to reconnect the accounts all the time?

Steam and Uplay plugins use to be the most unstable to me. There is no day when any of them or both do not crash minutes later Galaxy is launched or, do not want to launch at all.

Uplay is the most problematic of the two. It`s been months since I had the uplay plugin stable or functioning more than five minutes. I tried everything, deleting, reconecting, login again etc. Annoying.

Probably It is different to other users because for my experience the problem is completely random. Tomorrow can be a different plugin failing. The first days of the closed beta Steam was the most stable plugin in my computer. It Never crashed. so...

I didn't have an issue with this until just this past hour or so. It's rapidly getting more and more frustrating.
It's still ongoing. Right now Steam is the one which I keep having to reconnect the most. Epic, Uplay and Origin appear to have been stable for me for a fairly long time now.
Yes, this is the main other problem I have with Galaxy 2.0 (other than not tracking battle.net game playtime).

I think this will only be fixed once there are official integrations available for Steam, Origin, Battle.net, etc. Right now we are forced to use community integrations that someone built as a side project in their spare time. Spare time projects are rarely good enough for production software.
Lol. Now I just received an email that said the following...
Thanks for using GOG GALAXY 2.0. We’ve noticed you have not connected any external platforms.
